  In 2009, I set off on a solo journey. I left the newsroom where I was employed as a reporter and newscast producer, and embarked on a mission - alone with my most basic gear, to document and share the stories of Indigenous communities and people who were ignored and neglected by the media, and lacked the resources to be heard globally...

On a shoestring budget I travelled, shot and produced as much as I could - because I knew that the stories and voices of the people I reached deserved to be amplified, heard and included in our global dialogue...
